The cozy self-catering hut is located directly on the Tauplitzalm, embedded in a charming alpine landscape. It offers ample space for groups and families and features three four-bed rooms with bunk beds on the first floor as well as one five-bed room on the second floor. The house also provides a washroom, a shower, and two separate toilets.

A spacious lounge invites guests to linger. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric stove, additional stove, refrigerator with freezer, as well as dishes and cooking utensils. Bed linen is also provided. A ski room ensures practical storage for equipment in winter. An additional winter room is also available.

The location directly in the alpine area of the Tauplitzalm allows for direct access to numerous hiking trails in summer, including the famous Six Lakes Hike. In winter, the cross-country ski trail runs right past the accommodation, allowing for an uncomplicated start to the day in the snow.

    The ascent is from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (subject to toll)

    In summer you can drive up to the accommodation. In winter, the car must be left at the large parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. You will be picked up from there and brought to the hut.

via the A2 Südautobahn, the S6 to St. Michael, continue on the A9 Phyrn-Autobahn, take the Liezen exit to the Trautenfels junction - turn off to Ausseerland

from direction Vienna, Linz

via the A1 Westautobahn, take the Regau exit as far as Gmunden, continue on the B145 as far as Bad Ischl, turn off into Ausseerland/Liezen

from Salzburg

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen

from direction Carinthia

via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
