The Lenzbauerhütte is situated in the middle of the Tauplitzalm on a small hill and was built in 1998. The building is made of natural wood, harvested at the optimal time according to the lunar calendar.
The self-catering hut accommodates up to ten people and features three double rooms on the first floor, each with an additional sofa bed. The kitchen, in a rustic, original style with a large table and a cozy bench, creates an inviting atmosphere. Here, meals can be enjoyed in good company after a day full of experiences.
The large sun terrace offers a wonderful view of the surroundings, and watching cows and calves is a special experience, especially for city children. The alpine flora and green meadows contribute to the idyllic atmosphere.
The accommodation offers a range of amenities such as a sunbathing lawn, parking spaces, a ski cellar, and a sun terrace. There are also barbecue areas and a lounge available. For relaxation, there is a wellness area with a sauna and a TV room. Internet and Wi-Fi are available.
Numerous hiking trails and visits to huts provide many opportunities for activities, ranging from short walks to extensive hikes.
In summer, cars can drive up to the hut, and parking spaces are readily available. Access is via the toll road from Bad Mitterndorf to Tauplitzalm.
We are available by phone or email for information regarding a stay at the Lenzbauerhütte on the Tauplitzalm.
