Your base camp in Ausseerland

The Schutzhaus in Bad Aussee is a lovingly run bed and breakfast. Outside the town center, directly in nature and just nearby the Alpengarten Bad Aussee and the Narzissen Vital Resort.

An ideal accommodation for those who are looking for happiness and like to be in nature. Together with the nature and sports lover Reinhard all peaks in the Ausseerland Salzkammergut can be conquered. Also guided bike as well as climbing tours are part of the offer at the Schutzhaus.

The five double rooms in the pension are freshly renovated and were equipped with natural materials such as old wood, loden and natural stones.

In the rustic breakfast room you can really start the day, well fortified with regional products, the adventure can begin.

The Caravan Park, a beautiful site for campers, is also adjacent to the refuge. Also at the site of the base camp is the peak Hoher Camper, which is conquered in just a few minutes. The view over the area from the base camp with the surrounding mountains of the Ausseerland is the ideal place to end the day.
