The well-maintained 3-star hotel is located directly in the idyllic Tauplitzalm

The Hotel Alpenrose is situated in the largest single ski area and one of the best freeride regions in Styria. Sporty cross-country ski trails, picturesque winter hiking paths, and cozy ski huts are also nearby.

Fresh, clear mountain air, millions of blooming mountain flowers, and the famous Brettljause create a thoroughly satisfying feeling. Hikes, strolls, or climbing routes like the Gamsblick offer numerous opportunities to enjoy nature.
The popular 6-lake hike across the highest lake plateau in Central Europe passes right by the accommodation.

With 16 rooms and five apartments in the Trawengblick House, the hotel offers comfortable amenities including a shower, WC, hairdryer, telephone, free Wi-Fi, and satellite TV. The hotel also features a restaurant and a sun terrace. Recent expansions include junior suites, a family apartment, and a dining room.     The ascent is from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (subject to toll)

    In summer you can drive up to the accommodation. In winter, the car must be parked at the large parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. You will be picked up from there and brought to the hotel.

    The adjacent apartment house Trawengblick with five apartments also belongs to the hotel.

via the A2 Südautobahn, the S6 to St. Michael, continue on the A9 Phyrn-Autobahn, take the Liezen exit to the Trautenfels junction - turn off to Ausseerland

from direction Vienna, Linz

via the A1 Westautobahn, take the Regau exit as far as Gmunden, continue on the B145 as far as Bad Ischl, turn off into Ausseerland/Liezen

from Salzburg

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen

from direction Carinthia

via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
