The Gindlhütte is located on the beautiful Tauplitzalm in the Ausseerland Salzkammergut.

The alpine hut was built in 2004 and includes three holiday apartments. A car is not necessary here. All six mountain lakes of the Tauplitzalm and the surrounding mountains are accessible on foot.
In winter, it takes just a few minutes to get from the accommodation to the Tauplitzseelift. The Tauplitzalm is particularly known for its safety of snow and excellent slope conditions. The cross-country ski trail and the winter hiking trail pass right by the Gindlhütte.

Inside the hut, there are three modernly furnished apartments. Two apartments are suitable for up to four people, and a further unit accommodates two people. Each apartment features cozy double rooms, a living-kitchen area with a seating area and pull-out couch, as well as a bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. Balconies, gardens, and meadows around the hut provide a stunning view of the surrounding mountain landscape.

Conditions

The Tauplitzalm can be reached from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (subject to toll) In summer you can drive up to the accommodation.

In winter, the car must be left at the large parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. You will be picked up from there and brought to the hut.

via the A2 Südautobahn, the S6 to St. Michael, continue on the A9 Phyrn-Autobahn, take the Liezen exit to the Trautenfels junction - turn off to Ausseerland

from direction Vienna, Linz

via the A1 Westautobahn, take the Regau exit as far as Gmunden, continue on the B145 as far as Bad Ischl, turn off into Ausseerland/Liezen

from Salzburg

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen

from direction Carinthia

via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
