Excellent wine taverns

The seal of approval "Ausgezeichnete Buschenschank" stands for quality. More precisely, for very special products of the Buschenschänken (wine taverns) in Steiermark, Styria. The establishments are recognisable by the wine-red, rectangular seal with white inscription.

The aim of the Buschenschänken is to offer guests excellent quality and a wide selection of regional wines and products. Special emphasis is placed on the glass culture, the ambience, the quality and origin of the food.

In the excellent Buschenschank you can be sure to be served wines from their own production and snack specialities from their own farm or from the immediate neighbourhood. Meat that is served on the plate is refined in-house or supplied by a direct marketer. Fish comes from Styrian waters and at least four types of Austrian cheese and three types of home-produced fruit juices are offered. Younger guests are also catered for: a children's snack and a playground await you at every farm.
