The day ticket including lift access includes a free uphill and downhill ride daily with the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road bus (www.alpenstrasse.at) or a round trip with the 4-seater chairlift of the Tauplitz cable cars (www.dietauplitz.com). The uphill and downhill rides can be used once.

The valid cross-country skiing ticket must be carried in printed form or as a mobile phone ticket (PDF version of the Print@Home Ticket / Standard Mobile Ticket / Mobile Ticket in the Ausseerland holiday guide) and presented to the cross-country skiing inspector without being asked.

Important Information Regarding the Use of Additional Services

• Round Trip with the Tauplitz Alpenstraße Bus
  To take advantage of the free transportation with the Tauplitz Alpenstraße bus, you must carry a complete and appropriate cross-country skiing outfit. The valid cross-country ski ticket must be presented to the bus driver for inspection without being asked.

• Round Trip with the Tauplitz 4-Seater Chairlift
  To take advantage of the free lift ride with the Tauplitz chairlift, you must carry a complete and appropriate cross-country skiing outfit. The valid cross-country ski ticket must be presented at the ticket counter for inspection, where the Tauplitz lift operators will issue a valid ticket for the round trip on that day.

Is there a possibility for luggage storage in Bad Mitterndorf?

• Luggage storage
  There is no luggage storage at the train stations. The information offices in Tauplitz and Bad Mitterndorf offer luggage storage during office hours for 4.00 Euros per piece of luggage.

• Lockers on the Tauplitzalm: Practical, Safe, and Sustainable
  Starting from the winter season 2024/2025, you have the option to store your personal belongings securely and free of charge in the parking lot of the Tauplitzalm. Right on the Alm, you can conveniently store your bags, backpacks, and other items before heading out to the cross-country skiing trails. For the lockers, you will need a 2.00 Euro coin as a deposit.
  Especially practical: The day ticket including ascent includes a one-time free ascent and descent with the bus on the Alpine Road or with the 4-seater chair lift of the Tauplitz cable cars. Take the opportunity to reach the Alm sustainably and stress-free while also benefiting from our new locker service.
  With this offer, we aim not only to provide you with more comfort but also to contribute to sustainability by offering you a practical changing and storage option directly on site.

Is the ascent via the Tauplitz Alpine Road or with the chairlift of the Tauplitz cable cars included in the day ticket?

• The ascent is exclusively included in the day ticket with ascent and in the season pass 2025/26 Plus.

Can I purchase a valid day ticket on the trail from the trail controllers?

• No. Please note that entering the trails without a valid ticket is considered skiing without a ticket and will be penalized with a fine of 105.00 Euros. Therefore, it is best to only enter the trail with a valid ticket!

• There are no senior citizen or disability discounts.
• Children up to 16 years old can use all the trails for free. Children require a separate child day ticket for the free ride to and from the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road bus and the 4-seater chairlift of the Tauplitz cable cars – this can be obtained for free at loipenticket.at.
• For groups of 13 or more, one person may cross-country ski for free. Free group tickets are only issued at local sales points.

If a ticket cannot be used due to external influences such as bad weather, heavy snowfall, weak snow conditions, avalanche danger, storm or similar, this does not entitle to a refund or extension of the validity period of the ticket. The same applies in the case of illness, early departure, unforeseen technical defects, closure of individual cross-country ski trails or the entire network of trails. Furthermore, it also concerns the suspension of operation due to force majeure, official orders due to pandemics or epidemics or otherwise justified legal regulations.

Outside the operating hours, the use of the cross-country ski trails is prohibited due to preparation work!

• From Bad Mitterndorf train station, the Krungl trail (M2) is in the immediate vicinity.
• From the train station Tauplitz the Kulm Loipe (M1) is nearby.
• From the train station Bad Mitterndorf Heilbrunn the Neuhofen Loipe (M3) is closest.
• From the train station Kainisch the Ödensee Loipe (K1) is within reach.

The most convenient cross-country ski trail entrances for arrival by car are mainly the following:
