Vacation, where the pleasure has its origin: To regional delicacies such as Brettljause, beetle bean and pumpkin seed oil, the Klöcher vintners serve their best drops. The Klöcher Traminer - the wine with the scent of the rose - is one of the noblest and most important grape varieties in the world and can be tasted in Buschenschänken, gastronomy, wineries and in the Vinothek. In Klöch, wine is part of the program and can be experienced in many ways: at one of the wine festivals, on two wheels on the vineyard bike tour or the Weinland Steiermark bike tour, while wine hiking as a stage stop on the hiking route "From Glacier to Wine" and along the Traminer Trail, which leads through the idyllic vineyards and rewards with impressive views of the magnificent landscape all the way to Slovenia.
Golf enthusiasts enjoy a particularly beautiful tee shot with a view of the vineyards on the 18-hole golf course of the GC Traminergolf Klöch. A highlight: watching TV from the castle ruins perched high above the wine region. And in the evenings, a diverse cultural program with readings, concerts and theater performances attracts visitors to the ruins. Tip: Visit one of the numerous wine festivals in the fall.
