Nature parks are model regions where nature conservation, sustainable tourism, education, and regional development go hand in hand. In the Mürzer Oberland Nature Park, this is particularly evident: the alpine area between Schneealpe, Rax, and Hohe Veitsch is home to an extraordinary diversity of species – from rare plants in the alpine meadows to endangered animal species that still find intact habitats here.
