We start our tour at the parking lot of the family ski area on the Kaiserau. The ascent runs parallel to the family run at the Brunntallift. At the fork, we follow the signs to the right and continue to a small stream, where there is a sign saying “Skitour.” We then climb through the forest via the Wagenbänkalmen to the summit of the Lahngangkogel. We continue towards the Klinkehütte, which is closed in winter. The descent from the Klinkehütte is either via the steep slope or via the forest road, which is not cleared in winter, back to Kaiserau, where we stop for refreshments at the Sportalm.
