Rafting on the most beautiful river in the Alps - the Salza in Styria
The Styrian Salza is scenically one of the most charming and beautiful rafting rivers in Europe. Crystal-clear, turquoise-green water, a fantastic bank vegetation, great jumps as well as wonderful white water of medium difficulty are trademarks of this fascinating river. Pure nature with a sporty touch!
Program
Meeting point is our Basecamp Salza & Adventure Hostel in Großreifling. After the welcome, each guest will receive the appropriate safety equipment (wetsuit and jacket, neoprene shoes, life jacket, helmet, paddle). Heated changing rooms, showers and sanitary facilities are available. Afterwards you will be transferred to the boarding point, here you will receive a safety briefing by the guide and then the tour will start. After a short drive we moor at the waterhole gorge, where brave guests can take a 5-meter bridge jump into the icy cold Salza.
The Palfauer Gorge - a unique nature experience!
After the "test of courage" we continue our tour along easy rapids to Erzhalden. Afterwards we will enter the impressive "Palfauer Gorge". The originality of the gorge looks like the film set of "Jurassic Park" and inspires all guests. At the end of the gorge there is another jump point.
