In search of gigantic galaxies, colorful nebulae and countless stars.
In the darkest places on our planet, such as the Gesäuse National Park, we can gain very deep insights into the universe. This one-day course combines theory and direct implementation, is intended as an introduction to astrophotography and is aimed at enthusiastic nature photographers with an interest in astronomy. We will start the practical part with the sunset in order to prepare ourselves for photography in nature and at the same time to locate the ideal place from which we will take the star images.
With Philipp Jakesch, I have been professionally involved in nature photography since 2017 and have been able to pass on my photographic knowledge and many years of experience in the form of courses and photo tours. Enthusiasm for the subject and an artistic eye are my main focus. With my pictures I try to tell aesthetically pleasing stories and celebrate the beauty of raw nature.
