Rottenmann is located in the Paltental, only 12 km from the district capital Liezen and is part of the Gesäuse tourism region. The surrounding mountains are perfect for numerous hikes of all levels of difficulty in summer and for ski tours, snowshoeing and skiing in winter.

Many interesting sights such as Strechau Castle, the Benedictine Abbey of Admont with its world-famous library, the Formula 1 Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, renowned skiing areas, the Gesäuse National Park, and much more can be found nearby.

The provincial capital Graz can be reached in one hour by car and scores with art, culture and shopping opportunities. Our nearby district capital Liezen offers numerous shopping opportunities.

Summer activities: hiking, cycling, swimming, summer toboggan run, sightseeing, Dachstein with Skywalk, ....

Winter activities: Alpine skiing, ski tours, cross-country skiing, ice skating, snowshoe hiking, sightseeing.

 Since 2018, we have been proud owners of the house in Burgtorsiedlung 293a. After the renovation in 2018/2019, we decided to offer one of the apartments as a vacation rental. Since then, we have had the pleasure of welcoming guests from both near and far.
