HWW-Bicycle route: Zöbern - Schlag/Zöbern - Schäffern - Guggendorf (circular trail)
This HWW cycle route is part of the Wechselland Historical Long-Distance Hiking Trail (HWW), which tells the story of Wechselland along more than 100 HWW stations. More information can be found at www.wechsel-wandern.at.
This HWW cycle route (circular cycle route) leads from Zöbern via Schlag/Zöbern to Schäffern and from there via Guggendorf back to Zöbern. Along the HWW cycle route you come to the HWW station Schuh-Wirt, where you learn that the municipal area of Zöbern and other places in Wechselland were destroyed during the Haiducken invasion.

Arrival by car
- Drive along the A2 highway to the Zöbern exit.
- Then follow the signs to Zöbern.
The tour is not signposted throughout. Route guidance with app recommended.
During the ride, we recommend taking a short break and a short walk to the Kreuzbühel Chapel in Schäffern to enjoy a picnic.
