Walk around the idyllic swimming lake

This leisurely hike leads to Krakaudorf swimming lake, where you can cool off in the water or simply enjoy nature.

Whether you enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shore, go for a swim, or simply relax and unwind, here you can enjoy nature to the fullest. The lake offers space to breathe deeply, refresh yourself, and recharge your batteries. It's well worth a visit to unwind and end the day in a harmonious atmosphere.

East:
From Vienna on the A 2 and S 6 to Leoben and St. Michael i. d. O., continue on the S 36 to Judenburg and on the B 96 to Murau. From Murau via Ranten to Krakow.
From Graz on the A 9 to St. Michael i. d. O.. Continue as above.

West, north:
From Bregenz/Innsbruck via the A 12, A 93 and A 8 to Salzburg. From Salzburg on the A 10 to St. Michael im Lungau. From here, take the B 96 to Tamsweg and continue towards Murau via Sauerfeld to Krakau.

South:
From Klagenfurt on the B 83 to Scheifling. Then on the B 96 to Murau and on to Krakau.

The tour starts at the information point and continues to the turnoff for the swimming lake. Continue along the forest road to the swimming lake. Enjoy the walk around the beautiful lake, surrounded by woods and meadows. Now follow the forest road again and return to the starting point via the same route.

The tour is accessible all year round.

From May to September, you can stop for refreshments at the GH Seestube.
