This is a moderately difficult hiking tour with a fascinating, panoramic view of Mühlen.

This is a perfect hike to completely switch off and be by yourself. Since the hiking trail is located away from the busy road, you can enjoy the surroundings and the nature of the municipality of Mühlen to the fullest. The countless viewpoints offer great picturesque landscape backdrops.

Coming from Judenburg via Unzmarkt to Scheifling. Always go straight on until you reach Neumarkt. Turn left here and drive over mills to the Tonnerhütte.

Coming from Tamsweg via Ranten (or Stadl an der Mur) drive to Murau. Turn right here and drive via Laßnitz, St. Lambrecht and Mariahof to Neumarkt. Turn left here and drive over mills to the Tonnerhütte.

The starting point of this tour is the Tonnerhütte. You hike the first part along the Tonnerhütten path. However, after the second bend you turn right. You hike along the signposted hiking trail to Jakobsberg. Here you keep left and walk along the path over the Jakobsberg branch church. At the next intersection keep right and turn into Wiesenweg. You hike via Greith, the Bösebacher Hütte past the Schmellingkogel back to the starting point.
