This jogging route around the Narzissen Vital Resort Bad Aussee combines athletic challenge with impressive natural scenery. The route runs along quiet side roads, field and forest paths and offers wonderful views of the surrounding mountain panorama. Ideal for running training, endurance running or even moderate long-distance running in the Bad Aussee running area.
The starting point is the “Narzissen Vital Resort – Solebad & Suitenhotel” in Bad Aussee. From there, head southeast along a dirt track to Teichstraße, then turn right into Wilhelm-Kienzl-Straße and shortly afterwards left into Sommersbergseestraße. After a sharp left turn, the path continues straight ahead along another dirt track to Öfnerstraße.
Here, the route continues to the right through a small courtyard (at the last house) towards the golf course. This is followed by a short climb to Teichschloss. The route then turns left onto Teichschloßweg and runs across a meadow to Sarsteinstraße. From here, it goes right (Dachsteinrunde) uphill to the turning point at the highest point.
The way back is down a forest road, along Sommersbergseestraße to Fischgasse. With the destination already in sight, the trail leads back to the “Narzissen Vital Resort” via Graumoosweg.
This route is perfect for anyone who wants to combine jogging in Ausseerland with relaxation and is looking for particularly picturesque running routes in Ausseerland.
