Richard Lipp is a brewer from southern Styria. He runs a microbrewery in Wagna under the name "Richards Bieratelier". Classic natural beers, hand-brewed and unfiltered, that is his beer philosophy. Hand-brewed means: Lipp does not let any computer-controlled equipment touch his beers. He doesn't produce so-called creative beers in all sorts of flavor variations: "I only use hops, malt, water and yeast." Lipp brews using the infusion process, and the beers are bottled in 0.75-liter bottles. In this way, he deliberately sets an example and positions his beers as an alternative to the regionally predominant wine: for example, as a fine gift or as an accompaniment to food, matched to the respective course. He has six varieties in his program: house beer, Pilsner, Schwarzbier, Pale Porter, Steirer Pale Ale, and Hefeweizen, all naturally cloudy.
Available in the studio in Wagna, in "s'Fachl" in Graz and at the exit Ehrenhausen direction Gamlitz, in the webshop and in several restaurants in the region.
