Nature.Power.Place Circuit Fürstensteig-Enns

From the starting point at the Wörschach municipal office, walk down to Dorfstraße and from there along Wörschacher Straße through the subway under the main road. Immediately after the subway, turn left and at the next junction turn right over the railway crossing and along the field path to the Enns. Here you now walk up the Enns. At the Maitscherner Ennsbrücke bridge, cross the main road and continue along the Ennsweg to where the Leistenbach flows into the Enns. Here you will find the Natur.Kraft.Platz ‘Wasserplatz an der Enns’. From there, follow the path along the Leistenbach stream until you reach the track next to the main road. From here, head north towards Niederhofen and shortly afterwards turn left over the Niederhofen overpass. Shortly afterwards, turn left onto Grazer Straße until you reach the entrance to Niederhofen.

If you start at the Stainach-Irdning train station leave the station to the north and walk up into the village. There, take Grazer Straße eastwards until you reach the Niederhofen entrance.

Take the entrance to Niederhofen and pass the cemetery with its beautiful church until you reach the crossroads. There, make a left up to the start of the Fürstensteig. At the end of the road, take the meadow path up to the Fürstensteig, which you then follow in an easterly direction to Wörschach. After a few minutes, you will reach the 4-Elements Nature.Power.Place at Friedstein Castle. Continue along the Fürstensteig trail, crossing the Lunglgraben with its little stream. Shortly afterwards you reach the rock-water nature.power.place. From there, it is only a few minutes back to the Wörschach municipal office.

If you started in Stainach at the train station, follow the same description from here as at the beginning. After the section along the Leistenbach river, take the underpass of the main road to the tennis courts and the Stainach sports field. From the entrance to the sports field, follow the sidewalk along Roseggerstraße to the sewage treatment plant and then continue straight ahead along Sallaberger Weg to Bioenergie Stainach. Here, Sallaberger Weg turns south, and you continue straight ahead to the train station in just a few minutes.

There are two places to stop for refreshments in Wörschach, Gasthof Weitgasser and Poschenhof.

Take the train to Stainach-Irdning station - express trains also stop here. Leave the station in a southerly direction and turn left (eastwards) onto Ennsbodenstraße. At Bioenergie Stainach at the Sallabergerweg junction, continue straight on to the sports field and start the tour there. If you want to start in Wörschach, the regional trains will take you to Wörschach station in Maitschern. Alternatively, bus no. 940 will take you to Wörschach (bus stop Wörschach Ort).
