Plan your journey via Google Maps to the starting point of the tour: www.google.at/maps

From the north: Coming from Lieboch, follow the B76 to Stainz, take the 3rd exit at the roundabout towards Preding and drive back along the main road for approx. 500m.

From the south: Coming from Deutschlandsberg, follow the B76 via Rassach, at the roundabout towards Preding leave the B76 at the 1st exit and follow the road for approx. 500m. The station is on the right hand side.

From the east: Leave the A2 from Graz at the Steinberg exit, follow the signs towards Stainz via Gundersdorf and St. Stefan until you reach Stainz, enter the town and turn left at the town hall onto the main square, turn right at the bottom of the main square and follow the road until you reach the station, slightly offset to the right.

From the west: Leave the A2 from Klagenfurt at the Steinberg exit, follow the signs towards Stainz via Gundersdorf and St. Stefan until you reach Stainz, enter the town and turn left at the town hall onto the main square, turn right at the bottom of the main square and follow the road until you reach the railway station, slightly offset to the right.

You start your run to Frauental in the historic ambience of the Flascherlzug. Now follow the Gewerbeparkstraße. At the JET roundabout, run straight across and after the Billa, turn left into Ziegelstadelstraße. Walk along this street to the end (Bäckerei Freydl). Now take the lane on your left and follow the path through the forest. Walk straight ahead and do not turn right. When you reach Kothvogel, continue straight on and you will see a small Matterl on your right. Follow the Rebengasse to the next crossroads. At the crossroads turn right into Schilchergasse. After a total distance of about 3.5 km, leave Schilchergasse and walk along the field path to Vochera am Weinberg. As the name suggests, you are now in the hilly wine-growing area of Bad Gams. You now quickly cross the road and continue on a forest path, past a pond. As before, stay on this path and always keep left at forks. You are not far from the centre of Bad Gams. This place is definitely worth a visit after your run. You can cool off in the GamsBad at any time. However, you stay on your running route and follow the path through the Black Forest to Gersdorf. Gersdorf is a beautiful West Styrian village. Traditional houses and farms can be seen here. Numerous Buschenschänke such as ToniPeter or Fellner are also located there. In Gersdorf you now follow the road to Schamberg. There you descend to the Frauental porcelain factory and continue on the road towards Frauental. Pass the Stegtoni inn to the centre of Frauental. The station is directly after the Leitner confectionery. But perhaps you will treat yourself to a café or a delicious ice cream at the end?
Visit the spa town of Bad Gams with its healing spring.
