The hunt has been part of the local cultural and landscape history for centuries. However, in times of changing social framework conditions, ecological challenges, and urban densification processes, it is more than ever at the intersection of tradition, sustainability, and contemporary development.
The Stieglerhaus Cultural Center dedicates an evening to this complex topic with a highly qualified panel. Under the title "Hunting & Society: A Relationship in Transition," current questions are illuminated and discussed with the audience through impulse lectures.
The event creates a space for exchange and dialogue between experts, interested members of the public, and the local community. Central to the discussion are the questions regarding the role of hunting in a changing society, its significance for ecology and landscape maintenance, as well as the responsibility towards nature and wildlife populations.
