Hunting has been a part of human life for thousands of years.
Since September 2006, the Hunting Museum in Stainz Castle has been showing hunting culture in all its facets and is dedicated to the interplay between man and nature as well as providing a detailed cultural and historical overview. In an innovative presentation that is unique in Austria, our visitors learn everything worth knowing about one of the great fascinations of mankind.
In addition to magnificent collection objects and interactive installations, cultural-historical excursions, supplemented by historical weapons and technical equipment, introduce visitors to the secrets of hunting.
