The winemaking tradition at the Erwin Sabathi winery dates back to 1650.Today, the winery is run by the winegrowing couple Patrizia and Erwin Sabathi.
Their philosophy is based on the origin of the wine and the workings of nature: all grapes are hand-picked, all vineyards are cultivated according to organic guidelines and all wines are fermented exclusively with natural yeasts. The centrepiece of their vineyards is the Pössnitzberg. Here, the perfect terroir is combined with Patrizia and Erwin Sabathi's refined style of cultivation.
