Weinbau Oliver Kump | Schilpanier

Deutschlandsberg

In 2002, Oliver Kump acquired a small western Styrian vineyard with one hectare of vineyards, at the foot of the Koralm with a view over the south-western Styrian hill country. The Blaue Wildbacher, the Schilchertraube, which was once cultivated by the Celts, unites this contrast of the landscape in a unique way with its typical fruit and acid play.

Belenus Schilpaniér

The roots of the Schilcher grape "Blauer Wildbacher" already go back to the Celts. The robustness and also the resistance to cold of this grape made western Styria the ideal cultivation area for the Blauer Wildbacher.

Belenus, the Celtic god of light, symbolises the brightness, the shine, the glow of the hand-fermented Schilcher sparkling wine. Variety: Blauer Wildbacher, quality sparkling wine according to the Champagne method.
