The Kulturkreis currently mainly offers piano concerts, with the "Deutschlandsberger piano spring" with internationally known pianists such as Elisabeth Leonskaja, Till Fellner or Marc-André Hamelin and young talents being among the highlights of the year.Furthermore, every summer there is the popular concert series "Live in front of the town hall" with popular music groups from different genres such as pop, rock, soul or jazz. For example, on the open air stage heard Opus, Boris Bukowski or Andi Baum several times.The rural theater festival in cooperation with the mezzanine is on the program once a year for young audiences in autumn.
In 1972, the Deutschlandsberg cultural district, initiated by the municipality of Deutschlandsberg, was established to enrich the cultural life of the city and to create new cultural terms. Since then, classical music concerts by renowned artists have made Germany's mountain far beyond its borders.
