In the "village on the border", as the Handwerkerdörfl is now also called, Gerhard Seher has reconstructed a small village with demolished historic buildings.
On display are a grocery store, a blacksmith's shop, a wainwright's shop, a cobbler's workshop, a barn with old farm equipment, a tree press, a bee house, a farmhouse with a smokehouse, a chaste house, a weaving mill, a chapel, a historic classroom and much more.
