One does not live from wine alone!For vegetable fans and meat tigers, for gourmets and wine connoisseurs, our Buschenschank in Heimschuh is open almost all year round. In summer in the beautiful garden, in winter cozy by the tiled stove. The one reaches for the house-pickled salmon trout with horseradish. The other is infatuated with the juniper raw ham. And at the next table, someone orders a collection of the finest pastries. But before that, they try the deer liver pâté. As you can see, no one goes home hungry after a visit to our Buschenschank.
The sucky life as a free-range pig
Johann Schneeberger, the elder, has a heart for pigs. To ensure that the animals grow up in ideal conditions, the senior has adapted an extensive meadow with a stream and wallow. The best feed from the region and a lot of time are necessary to let the Sausal free-range pigs grow up. And this tastes the guests as well as the experts. At the most recent speciality awards, eleven awards were presented, ranging from pancetta to herb-flavored pork loin.
