From the Tonnerhütte you can take the drag lift to the high halt, from there you climb gently uphill to the “Herter Höhe” viewing platform (1800m). At the signpost next to the large stone, the two ascent options separate (SW gully or winter marking).

Follow the winter markings (wooden poles) towards the north. After a few hundred meters through sparse trees (pines, larches, spruces), into the tree-free area. Continue across the now steeper alpine pastures to “Hirschnlackn”. (double marking rods)

Descent and ascent.

Variant: You climb the ridge of the slope at the same height to the right towards the east and after approx. 200m you come to the Sommerweg or the lower part of the “Südwestrinnen-Abfahrt” and drive - or go back to the Herterhöhe and from there over the ski slope , or via the panoramic path back to the Tonnerhütte.

With the BusBahnBim app from the interconnected line, timetable information is easier than ever before: all bus, train and tram connections in Austria can be queried by entering locations and/or addresses, stops or important points. The app is available as a free app for smartphones (Android, iOS) - on Google Play and in the App Store.
