More information

Coming from Schladming or Liezen follow the B320 to Trautenfels. At the traffic circle turn off in the direction of Irdning, follow the road until you reach the Irdning Tourist Office (red building in the center of the village on the right-hand side).
Starting from the tourist office, follow the signs to the Capuchin monastery, which has existed since 1711, here it is worth taking a short detour into the interior of the church. Then follow the slightly sloping path to the road to Donnersbach. Cross this road. After about 100m you turn left, uphill through a short piece of forest, past the Gumpenstein Research Institute and the Raumberg Secondary School. Cross the village until you reach a small chapel, where after about 200m the asphalt path turns into a gravel path. Now the trail goes slightly uphill at the beginning. At the first fork in the road, keep to the left, then cross a bridge and turn right onto the narrow path that leads steeply uphill. After a short time you will come to a forest road, which you follow to the left to the Lehen and left again across the meadow, then through a short piece of forest to the Obermoser farm. Here you walk between the house and the stable. It is possible that the farm dog lies in front of the house and welcomes you. Follow the asphalt road downhill until the marked path branches off to the left into the forest. You will now cross a forest road twice until you reach the valley.  Now you walk slightly uphill on the hardly used road back to Raumberg and further to Irdning.

A short stop at the Capuchin monastery makes sense. The view into the church and the story square outside already invite you to pause, read and enjoy at the beginning of the hike.
With the bus940/941 to the bus stop ,,Irdning Busbahnhof'', here is also the tourism office-the start point.
