Back to the (Pöllau) origin

The hiking trail is entirely dedicated to the theme of water.
In the Gragschlucht you can hike along the torrent to the cascade waterfall, then you continue to a Romanesque church to the Pöllau origin. The beautiful circular hiking trail takes us to the center of St. Marein and back to the Graggerschlucht parking lot.

At the Pöllau spring, the purest water bubbles directly from the earth. This happens due to the geology of the Grebenzen. An almost 600 m high water-impermeable layer of limestone forms a threshold inside the mountain and allows the spring to emerge.
