Frauenhainweg Educational Animal Trail Murau
A superb circular woodland trail with a lovely view over Murau and a tree hollow. Particularly suitable for families with children.
This delightfully hidden forest walk, a real jewel in Murau, was brought to life by nature lovers. For children, this short tour is an easy yet fun hike, with plenty to explore. The educational animal trail was created with great love and care, and helps children learn more about woodland animals. The information boards make the animal kingdom more accessible to young explorers, providing details about the habits and behaviour of these forest dwellers and their offspring. This walk is also a great option for hot days, as the trail weaves almost exclusively through wooded areas. Our youngest visitors will likely require a little help on a short steep section, but otherwise this trail makes a wonderful forest playground. Not suitable for prams! There is a splendid view of Murau from an elevated position in an open section of the forest.
