Popular hiking trail around Kögerl to the Strallegg ice and curling rink and back to the village.
The tour starts at the village square in the beautiful flower village of Strallegg. The trail leads through beautiful landscapes and through the picturesque Joglland forest home.

Strallegg is located in the East Styrian mountains. The municipal area rises from around 600 meters in the southwest to over 1000 meters.
By car:
From Graz: via the A2 (towards Vienna) to the Gleisdorf-West exit, follow the B54 to Weiz, then continue on the B72 towards Ratten, Strallegg
 
From Vienna: via the A2 (towards Graz) to the Gleisdorf-West exit, follow the B54 to Weiz, then continue on the B72 towards Ratten, Strallegg

  • We start the very popular hike at the village square of Strallegg and follow the yellow trail marker no.4, which first leads around the Kögerl and then down to the Arbesbach
  • There we turn off to the left and come across a tunnel-like section of forest to the Strallegg asphalt and ice facility
  • The romantic ice hut is only open in winter. Afterwards, the trail goes back to the village
The Rock and Stone Museum is located directly on the hiking route and is well worth a visit.
