HR5 - Sharrows - Feldbach mobile & sustainable to the destination (HR5 - Sharrows)
Open
The main bike route HR5 leads from Oedt to the train station in Feldbach. The route is marked with sharrows in red.
The Sharrows, a word combination of "share" and "arrow", are innovative ground markings for orientation for cyclists. They consist of a colored base surface with a cyclist pictogram and directional arrows for signposting. As a pilot region, the municipality of Feldbach has developed and implemented six main cycling routes in the municipality area together with the province of Styria as part of the cycling concept and has been very well supported by the province of Styria. Each of these main bike routes was assigned a color and thus the course in the municipal area is recognizable even without a bike path map.
The HR5 leads from south-west to north through the center of the New City of Feldbach. From Oedt to the Marburger Weg junction, you also ride along the R32 state cycle path, which leads from Gnas to Feldbach.

Author’s recommendation
Along the HR5 you drive a piece parallel to the Gleichenberg railroad. A trip with the regional train known as the "Jungle Express" is fun!
