The mountain rescue center of the popular ZDF series is located in the center of Ramsau am Dachstein, below the Protestant church. This is where emergency calls are received and daring rescue operations are planned and launched. The premises are used exclusively as a filming location for the series. The “real” mountain rescue service is also located in Ramsau am Dachstein.
The building of the series operations center, also known as the “Pehab Zuahäusl”, is owned by the Prugger family, who run the Aktivhotel Pehab next door
Visit the original location: The interior of the mountain rescue headquarters can be visited as part of the guided hike. You can also visit the outside of the filming location without a guide. Please note: Do not park directly in front of the building. Free parking is available at the church and at the Dachstein Event Center.
