Cabaret
Friday, November 29, 19:30h, CCW
A room, a woman, a few disco ball shards. Sonja Pikart stands at the window and tries to look serious. She has been working out, meditating and smoking - both tofu and evil spirits - since 4am. Now she wonders how many world wars have already been started because some feel-good flap told a fascist: “Everything is allowed to be there. You are enough.” Sonja would like to describe the world outside her door as an apocalyptic nightmare, but actually everything is the same as always: some things are so terrifying that they have to be suppressed, but there are also NGOs, ice cream and baby sloths. Would she even notice if there came a point when the mood changed? As long as she can look after her kimchi in here, everything is actually fine. It's nice to be needed. Nourishing a cabbage with warmth of heart is not something an AI can do. A fantastic sci-fi journey into one's own soul begins, a strange dream of a world made worse, a search for humanity in a reusable piñata.
Admission: € 24.-
“Due to the punchline density of her program, the German actress Sonja Pikart was already able to take home one of the most visually striking awards in the domestic award palette in 2015, the Neulingsnagel (a branch with a nail). Since then, she has become even better.” (Die Presse)
