2025 will again be held the Spring Festival of Horses in Ramsau am Dachstein. Lovingly put flower figures, carriages pulled by magnificently decorated horses and a non-motorized parade unique in Austria enrich the festival program. The supporting program naturally includes a lot of traditional costume and tradition. Musical walks, traditional costume dance groups and Schuhplattl'n and musical performances that make the festival tent resound.
The highlight is the parade on Sunday. Flower-decorated horse-drawn carriages together with traditional costume, music and Schnalzergruppen from the region form the spring festival procession of horses. In total, more than 100 horses of different breeds will be "in action". The net proceeds of the festival will benefit the mountain rescue Ramsau am Dachstein and social projects.
