Our hotel is situated at an altitude of 1,100 m with a stunning view of the Dachstein massif and the surrounding valleys. In winter, we offer the perfect location, with the ski lifts located directly across from the hotel, allowing you to ski to and from the hotel. In summer, we serve as a starting point for hikes and walks. The Hochwurzen cable car across from the hotel effortlessly takes you to our hiking and local mountain, the Hochwurzen. You will receive the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card with many benefits (free use of the cable cars, etc.) upon arrival.
We offer different room types, each combining appealing and modern flair with tradition. Thanks to our half-board service, you will also be well taken care of in terms of culinary delights. In addition to a diverse breakfast buffet, you can enjoy an afternoon snack and an evening menu with a rich salad buffet. We regularly host special theme nights and offer themed buffets.

From Salzburg on the Tauern motorway to the Ennstal junction , then direction Schladming ( B 320 ) , exit at Schladming and towards Rohrmoos to Alpenhotel Waldfrieden ( about 5 km above Schladming ) . Distance : Salzburg - Rohrmoos ( 95 km ) . From Liezen take the Ennstal highway ( B 320 ) to Schladming, then direction Rohrmoos . Tips for arrival : Coming from Germany via Regensburg - Passau to Liezen ( motorway is now through to Liezen finished ) - Liezen 50 km Schladming / Rohrmoos .
