Graz

Individually combine and enjoy.

The idea of the kit eateries originated in Graz at the end of the 1990s. The goal was to give guests more freedom in their selections: instead of ordering ready-made dishes, they assemble their own meals. On a colorful slip of paper, they choose the base, ingredients, and extras, which the kitchen then prepares according to these specifications. This concept remains the cornerstone of the kit eateries and has secured them a solid place in Graz's dining scene.

The offering is diverse, ranging from pizza and toast to favorsome dishes, salads, egg dishes, or baked potatoes. Drinks can also be created using the kit principle – from spritzers to cocktails. This results in always new combinations tailored to personal taste. The eateries are vibrant and strongly influenced by a young audience.

The sawmill in Schlögelgasse is located right by the Kaiser-Josef-Markt and is one of the most central kit eateries in Graz. It combines proximity to the market with the classic kit principle, making it a popular meeting point for a diverse audience.
