This fountain in the center of Geistthal is called the Women's Fountain and features various representations of women.
For three years, the sculptor Alfred Schlosser worked on this fountain, which portrays the injustices against women and the healing power of the feminine gender with sculptures and carefully considered texts.
The impetus for this was the hundred-year-old peasant woman Martha Moosegger, who was burned as a witch in 1647 in Voitsberg. Various forms of remembrance are made for women, and injustices done to them throughout the centuries are pointed out.
The Europa Fountain Geistthal is freely accessible.
