With “The Rafting” you experience Graz from an unusual perspective – not from the bank, but in the middle of the Mur. From the city beach, a large raft departs, towed by an electric motor, accommodating up to 50 people. A round trip lasts between one hour and 1.5 hours: first upstream with the motor, then just drifting back – in complete tranquility and with a view of the city skyline.
But it is more than just a water ride. The rafting also offers events, private bookings, raft-building workshops, and occasionally live music on board. For schools, companies, or groups of friends, the entire raft can be exclusively reserved – with catering and a custom program. Furthermore, at the rafting, you can also take kayak and SUP courses – ideal if you want to be active on the water yourself.
For visitors, a trip with the rafting means a little adventure in the middle of the city. Because sitting in the river, hearing the water, and seeing Graz from the water – that is a different city, a new perspective, a break from the usual view of buildings and streets. Thus, the rafting becomes a place of experience that connects the unfamiliar and the familiar – right in the experience region of Graz.
