Circle Thalia

The Circle Thalia at Opernring has a special background. In the 19th century, the Thalia Theater stood here, which was transformed into a cinema with a dance café in the 1950s. Even then, the address was known for great evenings and a unique atmosphere. The club today builds on this legacy and brings the history back into Graz's nightlife in a new form.

At the center is the legendary turntable with the star, which shaped parties in earlier decades. It is complemented by a large disco ball, modern LED walls, and a room design that combines mid-century design with contemporary technology. Flamingo-pink seating furniture recalls the quirky past with real flamingos in the garden area, while the restored mosaic in the entrance area makes the long tradition of the house visible.

The venue accommodates a variety of events. Electronic music, disco, funk, or soul create diversity, while small concerts, comedy formats, or collaborations with the University of Arts take place in the lounge area.
