You can find all information on how to get to the thermal spa and volcano region of Styria
here.
Starting point: Fehring main square. Here you follow the yellow signs along the “Handspur” via Sinzingergasse to the Kapellenwald forest, past the forest chapel to the Vulkanarena with a geomantic power place. Past an abandoned clay pit to the Kuruzzenkogel, behind the Kuruzzenschenke you will find the remains of a defensive wall. Along the Way of the Cross through the forest to the Kogl Chapel and past the old press house, the trail leads to the romantic Kellergassl with impressive views from the Heißberg. Continue in the direction of Kapfenstein, where the nearby Weinhof Gwaltl wine farm invites you to taste its wines, before returning to Fehring via Beingraben.
