On October 19, 2025, Graz invites for the second time to the "Day of Religions" under the motto "Living ... in Encounter". Starting at 1 PM, churches, the synagogue, a mosque, and other religious centers will open their doors. Visitors can experience spiritual, musical, and culinary contributions and engage in conversation with the communities. Some Christian churches are already inviting to services in the morning. New participants include the Marienstüberl, the Christ Church in Eggenberg, and the Bodhidharma Zendo. Organized by the Interreligious Council and ComUnitySpirit, supported by the city of Graz, the day is a symbol of respect and togetherness in Styria. Throughout the afternoon, free shuttle buses from Holding Graz will connect the locations starting from Jakominiplatz. The conclusion will take place at 5 PM at the Stupa in Volksgarten – with music, a joint action in the spirit of connectedness, and an agape where bread and water will be shared. In case of rain, the celebration will be moved to the Kreuzkirche. The Day of Religions transforms the Graz region into a vibrant place of diversity on this Sunday, where community and dialogue are at the forefront.
