Switching on the Christmas lights

One of the most famous Christmas illuminations in Styria can be seen in Frohleiten around Christmas. Strings of lights adorn the promenade along the Mur façade and numerous decorated Christmas trees light up the main square. For some, the atmospheric lighting in winter has already become a landmark of Frohnleiten. The illuminated skyline can be seen particularly well between the bridge over the Mur and the Volkshauspark from the opposite side.
