The Social Soccer Cup in Gratwein‑Straßengel, Styria, has been bringing young people from different countries and social backgrounds together for years. With a focus on community instead of competition, the tournament promotes integration, encounters, and sporty joy.
Participating teams from youth and social institutions compete in small-sided football. Important: Each team must have at least one girl in the game. In addition to trophies, awards such as "Fair Play" and "Best Girl" are given.
2026 will be entirely focused on the simultaneously occurring World Cup in football in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
The motto is: Football connects beyond borders. Young people should overcome prejudices, form friendships, and develop mutual understanding. The tournament is open to everyone – regardless of club affiliation or origin.
