On November 4th at 7:00 PM, literature meets life experience in the city halls of Voitsberg. Erika Pluhar will read from her new book "Late But Nevertheless." At the center is a quiet, profound love story. Luisa encounters her first love Heinrich on the street after more than 60 years, completely by chance. What once was, what could have been, and what might still come unfolds gently in Pluhar's poetic language.
It's about memories, aging, intimacy, and rediscovering old feelings. The evening will be musically accompanied by the ensemble of the Voitsberg Music School, which sensitively captures the mood of the reading.
Erika Pluhar, born in Vienna in 1939, is one of Austria's most well-known artists. For decades, she was an actress at the Vienna Burgtheater, she wrote songs, acted in films, and published numerous novels. For her diverse body of work, she has received numerous awards both in Austria and abroad.
