The hilly landscapes in the west of Graz are characterized by agriculture, fruit crops, vineyards and extensive forest areas. It's a pleasant hike here with beautiful panoramic views.
Meeting point: 8:15 a.m., Gratwein train station, onward journey planned with GUSTmobil or shared taxi to Stiwoll; End of the hike in Reiteregg, St. Bartholomä, return to Graz by public transport (Regiobus)

Arrival/departure is public as it is not possible to return to the meeting point.

Path length: 15 km | Ascent: 400 m | Walking time approx. 5 hours
Total duration of the hike approximately until 3:30 p.m., then planned stop after the hike, purely public transport hike: do not return to the starting point
Difficulty level: Easy paths, forest paths, forest, meadow and asphalt. Fitness required for 5 hours of walking and 400 meters ascent.
