The Arik-Brauer-Town Hall in Voitsberg will open its doors on September 11, 2025, for the exhibition "Painted Life" by the artist Regina Uedl. Her works traverse the space between painting and graphics, between abstraction and references to nature. Time and again, the artist seeks closeness to nature, which serves as her source of inspiration and refuge. In doing so, images arise that do not depict the seen but rather make visible the larger concept of nature. Delicate lines outline motifs, while pasty color fields tell stories of vibrancy. Some works appear still and subtle, others full of movement and colorful energy. Thus, an artistic path emerges that has been shaped throughout a lifetime by observations of nature and visual imagination.
At the opening on September 11, 2025, Mayor Mag. (FH) Bernd Osprian will speak, followed by an artist talk between Heinz Schlatzer and Regina Uedl. The vernissage will be musically accompanied by saxophone sounds from Ingo Herzmaier.
The exhibition can be visited until the end of November 2025 during office hours. This sets a strong signal for art in the Graz Region.
