Every Wednesday at 2:30 PM, music plays live, short, and right in the middle of Graz at Café Stolz.

In the middle of the mirror foyer of the Graz Opera, a short concert is served every Wednesday – perfectly paired with a cup of coffee in the stylish Café Stolz. The espresso concerts offer a musical intermezzo of exactly 15 minutes starting at 2:30 PM. Admission is free, and the experience is all the richer. On stage are members of the Graz Ballet, musicians from the Graz Philharmonic, and guests – presenting a varied program of singing, dancing, and instrumental music. The idea: music in "espresso length," providing a cultural moment in the middle of the week. Sometimes delicate and quiet, sometimes lively and direct – artistic diversity is at the center. The concerts take place in the neo-Baroque ambiance of the mirror foyer – overlooking Kaiser-Josef-Platz. Café Stolz is part of the Graz experience region, combining urban flair with classic elegance. The first date after the summer break is September 24, 2025 – after that, it continues weekly, always on Wednesdays at the same time.
