On Saturday, November 8, 2025, the Volkshaus Bärnbach will once again become a stage for authentic alpine folk music. During the popular singers' and musicians' meeting, four music groups will perform, delighting audiences with regional sounds and handmade music: Margrets Musi, the Puchwieser Sänger, the Steirer Dreier, and the Kellermusi will bring harmonious melodies from Styria and beyond.
This musical encounter is not a competition, but rather a gathering that celebrates traditional music-making. Without amplifiers, but with even more feeling, there will be singing, yodeling, and playing – just as has been practiced in many valleys of the Alps for generations.
The audience can look forward to a varied program ranging from calm vocal pieces to lively instrumental pieces. Each group brings its own unique touch, sometimes three-part, sometimes with accordion, sometimes with violin or guitar.
The voluntary donation as an entry contribution emphasizes the open, communal character of the evening.
Embedded in the traditional Graz Region, the meeting is a vibrant proof that the musical diversity of Styria is still deeply rooted today.
